Quentin Lind is a Manukau born, Manawatu raised artist who completed his MFA at Elam School of Fine Arts in 2016. His work examines geographic identity and is heavily influenced by visual and cultural languages specific to the city he grew up in.

Everything Louder than Everything Else presents an interstitial moment of epistemological hesitancy. An intrusion of the supernatural into the "memetically real", the para entering the normal. It's the pause in motion when the subject encounters the object, held between arriving at a resolution and turning away in incomprehension. The title of the work was lifted from the back of a motorhead tee shirt.
