Eilish Dwyer is a Tāmaki Makaurau based Papaioea born artist, who predominantly makes oil paintings. Her paintings are often autobiographical, referencing iPhone photos she takes of her day to day life. Eilish is drawn to intimate moments, bodily functions, domestic settings and interpersonal relationships, which create the reference material that informs her practice.

Yellow Lamp creates a portal from a public space into a very private one, a snapshot of an intimate moment of trust and vulnerability between subject and painter.
